Photo Guidelines

We want your portrait to be stunning! The first step in making that happen is choosing the right photo. Follow our simple guide below to make sure your photo is perfect for your personalized masterpiece.

1. Choose a Clear, High-Quality Image

The better the quality of your photo, the better the portrait! Avoid blurry or pixelated photos for the best results.

2. Avoid Hands and Fingers

Please keep hands out of the shot. As much as we love them, hands can be a bit of a mystery! They tend to cause confusion during the portrait creation process.

3. No Accessoires in Face

Please keep accessoires out of the shot. As much as we love them, they can be a bit of a mystery! They tend to cause confusion during the portrait creation process.

4. Focus on One Person Only

Right now, we can only accommodate one person per portrait. Think of it like creating a solo album cover! Group portraits are coming soon...

5. Chest Up - The Sweet Spot

For the best results, we recommend photos that show you from the chest up. Think of it like a classic portrait shot – it’s the perfect frame to showcase you in all your glory.

6. Keep It Bright

Natural light is your friend! Bright, well-lit photos will make your portrait shine. Try to take the photo during the day or near a window with plenty of natural light.
